NC Foundations with Krista Potter

This training provides participants with an introduction to Foundations, North Carolina’s new Early Learning and Development expectations, how they are structured, and how to implement them in early childhood setting. The revised Foundations spans birth to age 5 and includes goals, developmental indicators, and strategies in five developmental domains. It can be used to improve teachers’ knowledge of child development, guide teachers’ plans for implementing curricula and establish goals for children’s development and learning that are shared across program services.

All participants should bring a copy of the new Foundations Handbook (directors have a copy)   (.5 CEU)
