DEPC needs your help! We need to buy 8,000 books to continue the work of the Reach Out and Read program in Nash and Edgecombe counties. A grant previously supporting this program has ended. It is important to provide books for children through this program, as it promotes the importance of both well-child checkups and reading. Our goal is $15,000.
By giving to our Reach Out and Read program, you are helping to provide books for local children ages 6 months-5 years at each well-check visit.
