Alphabet Tree

Read the book together either in the park or in a comfy place before visiting the park!
Then when you arrive at the park, bring the book!
Read book again pausing to find the letters as you read each page (By hopping on each letter)

Find first letter in your name.
Find all the letters in your name.
Spell a word-say it out loud as you move to each letter (C-A-T spells cat!)
Bring sidewalk chalk & practice writing the alphabet on the blank sidewalk spaces!
Sing the abc song!
Sing & move onto each letter as you sing!
With a partner or two, use your bodies to try and form each letter laying on the sidewalk.
Count how many letters there are altogether.
How many of each color are there? Yellow? Red? Etc…
Take a photo of any of this & share it with us!
