Medication Administration

| FreeParticipants will learn medication best practices in early care and education including receiving, documenting, storage, and disposal. This training will cover NC Child Care regulations, types of medication, the six rights of medication administration, the forms that are required to be completed before giving medication as well as how to recognize, respond to, and report a medication error.
This training does not prepare participants to give medication to children. Additional in-person, skills-based training should be undertaken by early educators who will be responsible for giving medication to children.
