Places to Play/Outdoor Learning Environments

The Healthy Kids Collaborative (HKC) is committed to reducing the incidence of childhood obesity by improving access to outdoor learning environments (OLEs)at G.W. Bulluck Elementary, Coker-Wimberly Elementary, G.W. Carver Elementary, Baskerville Elementary, and Williford Elementary. The intended impact of this effort is to increase the physical activity levels of the children enrolled in these schools and the community surrounding the schools by providing opportunities to play for all children.
