May 25th is designated as National Missing and Exploited Children’s Day. Each year, DEPC, City of Rocky Mount Police Department, and Nash County Public Health sponsor a free “Take 25 Child Identification Event.” Area childcare providers bring their children to have photos taken and receive information on Stranger Danger and other safety concerns. Parents are also encouraged to Take 25 minutes and talk with their children about safety tips and emergency procedures.
