All Pro Dad’s Day is a monthly school program where dads and kids meet to have breakfast and enjoy meaningful conversation that strengthens their relationship.
Locally, All Pro Dads is a Ready Schools strategy designed to increase positive interaction between dads/male figures and their children and promote family engagement in the home and school setting. Faith-based partners, in collaboration with designated school personnel, facilitate a one-hour monthly curriculum over breakfast during the school year.
Currently, All Pro Dads chapters exist at 15 elementary schools in Nash and Edgecombe counties (Williford Elementary, Susie B. Baskerville Elementary, G. W. Bulluck Elementary, D. S. Johnson Elementary, Fairview Elementary, Benvenue Elementary, Stocks Elementary, Princeville Elementary, Martin Millennium Academy, Coker Wimberly Elementary, Winstead Elementary, Red Oak Elementary, Englewood Elementary, Hubbard Elementary, and Nashville Elementary). There is an additional All Pro Dad chapter located in Wilson that has been influenced by the Baskerville Elementary chapter, John W. Jones Elementary.
All Pro Dads chapters also exist in the following middle schools in Nash and Edgecombe counties (Phillips Middle, West Edgecombe Middle, J. W. Parker Middle, and Red Oak Middle).
