| FreeThis training is designed to equip attendees with an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The training will cover crucial aspects such as diagnostic criteria, dispelling common myths, and unraveling misconceptions surrounding ASD. Attendees will learn about the features of ASD, including their strengths which will help create a positive and inclusive environment. Additionally, the training will discuss the neurodiversity movement, address typical misunderstandings, answer common questions, and promote an appreciation for the diverse ways in which individuals with ASD experience and contribute to the world. Participants will gain insights into the relationship between ASD and academics, fostering a nuanced perspective to better support individuals in educational settings.
