MyPlate Monday – Dairy

Did you know that foods made from milk that have little to no calcium, such as cream cheese are not considered a source of dairy? Sources of dairy include milk, cheese and yogurt. Dairy items are a valuable source of calcium. Be sure to look for fat-free or low-fat items. Looking for the calcium but don’t want to reach for the dairy? Try kale leaves as they are rich in calcium.
